Chevrolet was born in a garage in Detroit. William Durant a successful buggy, along with Louis Chevrolet, a car race driver, designed this car for public use.
The company was established in 1911 and got its name after Louis Chevrolet, a prominent name in motor sport. Chevrolet's logo was inspired by a wall paper design in a Hotel room in Paris and appeared for the first time in 1914.
